Stephen Powers: Investors File Complaint Over Variable Annuity Investment

Stephen PowersPublicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on July 30, 2018 indicate that Maryland-based PFS Investments broker Stephen Powers has received a pending customer complaint. He is a registered broker with three US states—California, Colorado and Maryland—and with one self-regulatory organization (SRO): FINRA.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received one pending customer complaint.

In May 2018 a party of customers alleged Stephen Powers, while employed at PFS Investments, told them their variable annuity investments were guaranteed to receive a minimum annual growth of 5%. The customers are seeking $204,638 in damages in the pending complaint.
