In 2014 FINRA sanctioned Stephen Kipp following allegations he permitted an assistant at his member firm, National Planning Corporation, to affix his signature to documents that would become firm business records, causing the firm to unknowingly maintain falsified business records. Mr. Kipp was issued a fine of $8,000 and a 20-day suspension.
In 2012 a customer alleged Stephen Kipp, while employed at National Planning Corporation, acted negligently, committed fraud, and breached his fiduciary duty. The complaint settled in 2014 for $50,000.
In 2010 Stephen Kipp was “permitted to resign” from National Planning Corporation following allegations he allowed an assistant to sign firm-related documents on his behalf.
