In November 2017 a customer alleged Soonhee Cho, while employed at H. Beck, recommended a non-traded real estate investment trust product that was “an unsuitably high risk, illiquid investment” and additionally that she failed to disclose material facts related to the product’s liquidity. The customer is seeking $193,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
In 1999 she was terminated from her position at Waddell & Reed following allegations she failed to comply with the firm’s policies and procedures regarding correspondence.
