Several Customer Complaints were Settled on Behalf of Rodney Ferguson

He is a registered broker and investment adviser with 15 US states and territories: Alaska, California, the District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received four customer complaints and one denied customer complaint.

In January 2017 a customer alleged Rodney Ferguson, while employed at NYLife Securities, recommended an annuity that she did not need. The complaint settled for more than $38,600.

In 2013 a customer alleged he, while employed at NYLife Securities, did not properly explain various policies. The customer sought unspecified damages in the complaint, which was denied.

In 2012 a customer alleged Rodney Ferguson, while employed at NYLife Securities, provided incorrect or incomplete information regarding a 401k plan. The complaint settled in 2013 for more than $32,400.

In 2009 a customer alleged Rodney Ferguson, while employed at NYLife Securities, failed to follow a request to stop the premiums on a variable life policy and did not place funds into the intended market brokerage account. The complaint settled for $29,292.

In 2000 a customer alleged he, while employed at Cigna Financial Advisors, recommended an unsuitable variable annuity product. The complaint settled for $90,000.
