According to his BrokerCheck report, he has been sanctioned by FINRA and discharged from a former employer in connection to alleged rule violations.
In March 2019 FINRA sanctioned Paul Gershon in connection to allegations he exercised discretion in client accounts without written authorization from the customers and without seeking or receiving firm acceptance of the accounts in question as discretionary. He was issued a 15-day suspension and a fine of $5,000.
In September 2018 he was terminated from his position at RBC Capital Markets in connection to allegations he violated the firm’s policy governing order executions.
