John Gallo: Two Regulatory Sanctions

Public records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on March 23, 2017 indicate that New York-based Newbridge Securities broker/adviser John Gallo has been the subject of several customer complaints and regulatory sanctions. In 2006 the NASD sanctioned him following allegations he failed to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request to provide information concerning the status of compliance. He was issued a 2-year suspension.

In 2004 a customer alleged John Gallo, while employed at Kirlin Securities and MS Farrell & Company, breached contract, misrepresented material facts, made unsuitable recommendations, and breached his fiduciary duty. The complaint resulted in an award to the customer of $50,000.

In 2001 the NASD sanctioned him following allegations his member firm, MS Farrell & Company, acting through him, conducted securities business after its membership had been suspended. He was censured and issued a fine of $25,000.

In 2001 a customer alleged John Gallo, while employed at MS Farrell & Company, breached contract, breached his fiduciary duty, committed fraud, acted negligently, and churned investments. The complaint resulted in an award to the customer of more than $32,700.
