Publicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on March 11, 2018 indicate that former Florida-based Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation broker/adviser Jimmy Moscosco has been sanctioned by FINRA and barred from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with a broker-dealer firm. Fitapelli Kurta is interested in speaking to investors who have complaints regarding Mr. Moscosco (CRD# 2912265).
Jimmy Moscosco has spent nine years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation in Boca Raton, Florida (2015-2018). He was previously registered with Putnam Retail Management in Boston, Massachusetts (1998-2004). He has passed two securities industry examinations: Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), which he obtained on March 21, 2015, and Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination), which he obtained on March 5, 2015. He is currently not registered with any state or firm.
According to his BrokerCheck report, Jimmy Moscosco was terminated from his former employer and has been sanctioned by FINRA in connection to alleged rule violations.
In February 2018 FINRA sanctioned him following allegations that after an elderly client agreed to make an investment of $20,000 in a “purported real estate investment” and gave him a check payable to the name of a business he owned, Mr. Moscosco “endorsed the check, deposited it into a bank account he controlled, and used the funds for his own personal use.” He later reimbursed the customer and the firm after his conduct was discovered. He was consequently barred from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with a broker-dealer firm.
In January 2018 he was terminated from his position at Lincoln Financial Advisors in connection to allegations he personally used a client’s funds for his own benefit, following which he returned the funds and “the client was made whole.”
