Jeffrey Berenson Has Been the Subject of a Pending Customer Complaint

Publicly available records published by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on November 30, 2017 indicate that Illinois-based Wells Fargo Clearing Services broker/adviser Jeffrey Berenson has received a pending customer dispute. He is registered with five self-regulatory organizations (SROs): FINRA, NYSE American LLC, Nasdaq PHLX LLC, the Nasdaq Stock Market, and the New York Stock Exchange.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received one pending customer complaint.

In October 2017 a customer alleged Jeffrey Berenson, while employed at Wells Fargo Clearing Services, recommended unsuitable investments. The customer is seeking at least $250,000 in damages in the pending complaint.
