Jason McBride Has Customer Complaints

 Jason McBridePublicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on July 18, 2016 indicate that Colorado-based Presidential Brokerage broker/adviser Jason McBride has received several customer complaints. The securities and investment fraud law firm Fitapelli Kurta is interested in hearing from investors who have complaints regarding Mr. McBride (CRD# 1875972).

Jason McBride has spent 27 years in the securities industry and has been registered with Presidential Brokerage in Greenwood Village, Colorado since 1995. Previous registrations include VTR Capital, which has since been expelled by FINRA, in New York, New York; Chatfield Dean & Company in Greenwood Village, Colorado; Venture Trading, which has since been expelled by FINRA, in New York, New York; Marshall Davis, which has since been expelled by FINRA; Donald & Company Securities, which has since been expelled by FINRA, in Tinton Falls, New Jersey; Pacific Rim Securities; and Power Securities Corporation. He is a registered broker and investment adviser with 16 US states and territories: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Jason McBride has received three customer complaints.

In November 2015, a customer alleged Jason McBride, while employed at Presidential Brokerage, breached his fiduciary duty, breached contract, acted negligently, and engaged in “unlawful termination and retaliation.” The complaint, in which Mr. McBride was not a named respondent, settled in May 2016 for $14,900.

In 2014, a customer alleged Jason McBride, while employed at Presidential Brokerage, made unsuitable recommendations, misrepresented and omitted material facts, committed fraud, acted negligently, breached contract, and breached his fiduciary duty in connection to the purchase of a tenant-in-common investment. The complaint, in which Mr. McBride was not a named party, resulted in an award to the customer of more than $653,700, to which Mr. McBride individually contributed $200,000.

In 2013, a customer alleged Jason McBride, while employed at Presidential Brokerage, made an unsuitable investment recommendation, misrepresented material facts, omitted material facts, failed to supervise, acted negligently, breached contract, and breached his fiduciary duty. The complaint, in which Mr. McBride was exempted as a named respondent, settled in 2014 for $12,000, to which Mr. McBride individually contributed $12,000.
