In March 2017 a customer alleged he, while employed at Thrivent Investment Management, told him a variable universal life insurance policy “would remain in-force with the currently scheduled monthly premiums.” The customer is seeking $43,000 in damages in the pending complaint.

In 2016 a customer alleged Gary Heuer, while employed at Thrivent Investment Management, misrepresented material facts related to an investment. The complaint settled for more than $77,200.

In 2015 a customer alleged Gary Heuer, while employed at Thrivent Investment Management, surrendered an annuity and used the funds for a non-security policy without approval. The complaint settled for $13,911.

In 2014 a customer alleged Gary Heuer, while employed at Thrivent Investment Management, did not properly disclose the tax implications associated with a variable life insurance contract. The complaint settled for more than $28,900.
