David Reid: Oppenheimer Rep Resigns Over Unauthorized Device Allegations

According to his BrokerCheck report, he has received one pending customer complaint and recently resigned from a former employer in connection to alleged rule violations.

In January 2019 he voluntarily resigned from his position at Oppenheimer & Company in connection to allegations he texted with customers and devices that were not approved by the firm.

In November 2018 a customer alleged David Reid, while employed at Oppenheimer & Company, executed unauthorized trades and over-concentrated the account in certain sectors. The customer is seeking unspecified damages in the pending complaint.
