In March 2018 he was discharged from his position at Signator Investors in connection to allegations of his involvement in unapproved outside investments in contravention of firm policies and procedures.
In March 2018 he was named in an investigation by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs concerning allegations of his involvement in the sale of unregistered securities products. The investigation remains pending.
