LPL broker Darius Michalski: Complaints

According to his BrokerCheck report, Darius Michalski is the subject of two customer complaints and two customer complaints that were withdrawn. He was also discharged from his positions at Edward Jones and the Prudential Insurance Company.

In 2012 a customer alleged Darius Michalski, while employed at Cantella & Company, breached his fiduciary duty by “making inappropriate trades designed to achieve his objective of generating commissions.” The complaint settled in 2014 for $275,000.

In 2011 a customer alleged Darius Michalski, while employed at Cantella & Company, “led her to believe that her investments were guaranteed.” The customer sought more than $28,000 in damages in the complaint, which was withdrawn.

In 2007 a customer alleged Darius Michalski, while employed at Raymond James Financial, made unauthorized and unsuitable transactions. The customer sought more than $5,700 in damages in the complaint, which was withdrawn.

In 2004 a customer alleged Darius Michalski, while employed at Raymond James Financial, executed unauthorized trades, breached his fiduciary duty, made unsuitable recommendations, and committed fraud. The complaint settled in 2005 for $4,000.

In 2000 Darius Michalski was terminated from Edward Jones & Company following allegations he engaged in “inappropriate conduct.”

In 1996 Darius Michalski was “permitted to resign” from his position at the Prudential Insurance Company of America following allegations he was referenced in an “anonymous complaint” concerning “questionable business practices.”
