Bryan Braman Terminated After Allegations of Forging Customer Signature

Bryan BramanPublicly available records published by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on June 8, 2018 indicate that former Michigan-based CFD Investments broker/adviser Bryan Braman has been named in a pending regulatory complaint and is currently not affiliated with any broker-dealer firm. Bryan Braman has spent eight years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with CFD Investments in Dewitt, Michigan (2017-2018). Previous registrations include Fifth Third Securities in Okemos, Michigan (2014-2017); Essex National Securities in Grand Blanc, Michigan (2012-2014); LPL Financial in Flint, Michigan (2011-2012); and Jackson National Life Distributors in Franklin, Tennessee (2009-2011). He has passed four securities industry examinations: Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination), which he obtained on February 24, 2014; Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), which he obtained on November 20, 2011; Series 7 (General Securities Representative Examination), which he obtained on August 4, 2013; and Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination), which he obtained on September 8, 2009. He is currently not registered with any state or firm.

According to his BrokerCheck report, he was recently discharged from a former employer in connection to alleged rule violations and has been named in a pending regulatory complaint.

In January 2018 he was named in a complaint by the State of Michigan in connection to allegations he participated in “dishonest or unethical behavior in the securities industry.” State authorities are seeking to deny his registrations in the action, which remains pending.

In May 2017 he was terminated from his position at Fifth Third Securities following allegations he forged a customer signature and initials on documents.
