Bill Kielczewski Was Recently Terminated From his Former Employer

Publicly available records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and accessed on August 7, 2017 indicate that former Ohio-based Huntington Investment Company broker Bill Kielczewski was recently discharged from his former employer in connection to alleged rule violations. Bill Kielczewski has spent 17 years in the securities industry and was most recently registered with The Huntington Investment Company in Toledo, Ohio (2014-2017). He has passed two securities industry examinations: Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination) and Series 7 (General Securities Representative Examination). In April 2017 Bill Kielczewski was terminated from his position at The Huntington Investment Company following allegations he “misrepresented activity relating to an OBA, and engaged in private securities transactions without firm approval for which there are no known customer complaints.” For reference, FINRA Rule 3270 states that “No registered person may be an employee, independent contractor, sole proprietor, officer, director or partner of another person, or be compensated, or have the reasonable expectation of compensation, from any other person as a result of any business activity outside the scope of the relationship with his or her member firm, unless he or she has provided prior written notice to the member, in such form as specified by the member.” Registered representatives who violate this rule may be subject to disciplinary action by FINRA or the Securities and Exchange Commission.
